In the era of "digital economy", technology not only profoundly changes people's life and production mode, but also challenges and changes the traditional system and law of economic operation. Fifty years ago, Milton Friedman proposed that the only social responsibility of enterprises was to make money. This has since almost become the iron rule that economists believe in. Today, the platform organization has gradually become the core force leading the market, which puts forward new requirements for the market system, corporate responsibility and the government's supervision of the market and enterprises. In the new economic era, should enterprises undertake more social responsibilities? Can the innovation of corporate governance system balance the relationship between corporate profit objectives and social responsibilities? Professor Hart will report his latest research from the perspective of contract theory.

How to achieve greater business value through better contracts in an uncertain world?
